- Panasonic: The Panasonic brand is very well known for its reliability and extensive product range. Because it is one of the first major brands to convert some of there most popular ducted air conditioning systems over to R32 gas. Most of the other reputable brands have produced an R32 split air conditioner range.
- Actron Air: Is a fantastic Australian made product. The Air Actron Air esp plus is one of my favourites models. The esp plus is the only ducted air conditioning system on the market that ramp downs to one outlet. This will reduce your energy costs.

Design
The design of your system, in my opinion, is the most important part to ensure your comfort level is maintained. Because no matter how good your air conditioning unit is. It cannot make up for a poor design. Some problems that can be experienced are.
- For example, a wall split can be undersized. therefore not heating or cooling the area correctly.
- Ducted systems the wrong size flexible ducting can be used or once again the wrong size machine can be selected.
- In general salesmen, without industry experience design the system and you trust their experience. I was at a job recently, I had just finished my client parents house. They ask me could I have a look at there home because they had airflow problems. they had the system in and running for 10 years. I look in the roof and surprised on the sizing used. I quoted the job and was awarded the job. We completed the work and the client was amazed by the difference. They had put up with a poor design from the day it was installed.
Therefore when having your system designed. Use a local air conditioning contractor ensure they are an industry professional. Because they know what to look out for when calculating the heat load.
